In the 27thth minute of the game 石景昆 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sobrecastell UD's César Suarez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sobrecastell UD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bertol Morera in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Gumaro Leturia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th play minute Tomás Beltran came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Boubacar Caragea. 3-1. A throw-in in the 40th minute of the game was made by Vasile Zbereanu with Godofredo Francis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Boubacar Caragea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cortez Morera in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Cortez Morera made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Tomás Beltran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boubacar Caragea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ≮王者归来≯日本浦和红宝石's Domingo Manni got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Domingo Manni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Sobrecastell UD's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Boubacar Caragea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Beltran in the 68th minute of play. When Sobrecastell UD's Cortez Morera in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Boubacar Caragea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 88 minutes into the game, Sobrecastell UD's Tomás Beltran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boubacar Caragea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sobrecastell UD had won after a very even match.
