After some careless play in the FV Wienerwald defense, Edu Carvalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Mallinger. The FV Wienerwald fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Mallinger should have stopped the shot. Marcel Mallinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Carvalho in the 24th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Edu Carvalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcel Mallinger. FV Wienerwald's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edu Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Jiang Yang Yuan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Tao Yu Qing made a huge save. After 35 played minutes ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Edu Carvalho. 37 minutes into the match, ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's goalkeeper Tao Yu Qing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jiang Yang Yuan. With a little luck, ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's Tao Yu Qing got control of the ball when Felix Hanschirik tried to sneak it across the goal line. It was beautiful to see FV Wienerwald's Ralf Szüczs in action when he in the 47th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The FV Wienerwald players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Edu Carvalho made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang Yang Yuan came free, but Tao Yu Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the game Rudolf Reichert made a throw-in which Felix Hanschirik played forward. Kim Rehmer made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rudolf Reichert. Tao Yu Qing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Szüczs, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ made a substitution. José Augusto Moura replaced Aad Kena. FV Wienerwald made a substitution. Klaus Adolphi replaced Andreas Trautermann. ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's Tao Yu Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Van Den Bosche in the 75th minute of play. Tao Yu Qing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johnny Van Den Bosche's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Marcel Mallinger was a little too slow when Edu Carvalho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Hanschirik in the 90th minute of play forced ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's goalkeeper Tao Yu Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 played minutes ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin de Lara. The ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
