The corner led Atlético Grau Piura's Federico Moura to fire away a dangerous shot which Hugo Orlando Gatti despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Atlético Grau Piura getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Alan Varela hit a great ball. Tartalo Delatorre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bolo Bolaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 27th minute of play forced Atlético Grau Piura's goalkeeper Tartalo Delatorre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tartalo Delatorre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Kemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andoni Ascarza in the 31st minute of play. Tartalo Delatorre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Kemen in the 35th minute of play. When Consejo del Mate's Bolo Bolaño in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Grau Piura's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35thth minute of the game Bolo Bolaño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Grau Piura's Tartalo Delatorre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Consejo del Mate getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Honorato Zambujal hit a great ball. Tartalo Delatorre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Kemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 47th match minute, Consejo del Mate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ervin Alla to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Junior Quintana made a kick off. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Quintana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético Grau Piura's Francisco Conceicão was substituted for Domenico Calcio. In the 66th minute Atlético Grau Piura were awarded a corner. Francisco Conceicão went to the cornerflag to take it. Atlético Grau Piura's Francisco Conceicão was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 67 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Quintana came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Grau Piura's Andoni Ascarza. But to his dismay, Andoni Ascarza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Consejo del Mate's Bolo Bolaño got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andoni Ascarza in the 79th minute of play. Tartalo Delatorre made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Julio Kemen sent off a good shot on target.
