Franco Sampler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Franco Sampler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Song Peng Xi's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. A collision led to Olympique Salonais getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Louis-Philippe De Assis Moreira hit a great ball. Franco Sampler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Song Peng Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Song Peng Xi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 25 minutes, Song Peng Xi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympique Salonais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Song Peng Xi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Salonais's zone, Isaac Eleder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raymond Foubert came out of the goal and Isaac Eleder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franco Sampler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Song Peng Xi, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Song Peng Xi in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Sampler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Olympique Salonais's Song Peng Xi in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villa La Perla's goalie prevented a goal. Louis-Philippe De Assis Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modesto Playo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Raymond Foubert made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the last second Franco Sampler throw himself and got hold of the ball when Song Peng Xi in the 52ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Song Peng Xi came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Olympique Salonais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Song Peng Xi couldn't finish the play. But to his dismay, Hilario Chale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When the match was over Olympique Salonais could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Villa La Perla throughout the match.
