The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Krister Jonsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. George Wiklund was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Krister Jonsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Krister Jonsson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Manfred Konradsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Belkå having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Orlando da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd match minute, Lite Finare Lite Bättre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Michael Ljungberg to maneuver through the defense. Emiliano Furia kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Peter Belkå showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Konradsson in the 41st minute of the match. In the 41stth minute of the game Manfred Konradsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Peter Belkå was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lemel SV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claudio Caniggia in the 42nd minute. Lemel SV's Claudio Caniggia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Peter Belkå in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Krister Jonsson got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Krister Jonsson struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. George Wiklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lite Finare Lite Bättre. Jacek Furlit hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Lemel SV's Dennis Bergkamp was substituted for Manfred Konradsson. Krister Jonsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Wiklund having to make a save. George Wiklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krister Jonsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Dennis Bergkamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Peter Belkå made a huge save. In the 81st minute Krister Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Manuel Sá was substituted for Orlando da Costa. A nice corner shot did that Tord Stolpe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this George Wiklund quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dennis Bergkamp might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Belkå. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dennis Bergkamp ran back to his position shaking his head. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Peter Belkå proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Lite Finare Lite Bättre from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Karl-Michael Ljungberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Lite Finare Lite Bättre were victorious despite being under pressure from Lemel SV for much of the match.
