The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Axelsson came free, but Sokol Narev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sokol Narev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Axelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When Börje Njurenius came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Sunkens Surtröjor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börje Njurenius couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's Victor Blom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Călin Prunaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victor Blom might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Călin Prunaru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Blom ran back to his position shaking his head. Călin Prunaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Sunkens Surtröjor's Sokol Narev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Paul Moscatelli in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's Victor Blom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Călin Prunaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victor Blom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Călin Prunaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sunkens Surtröjor's Error Uchiha managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Andrei Murărașu in the 25 minute of the game. Călin Prunaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Börje Njurenius in the 26th minute. Sokol Narev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Isbășoiu in the 27th minute of play. Evelio Loi kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Jean Paul Moscatelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sokol Narev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Sunkens Surtröjor got a freekick which was hit by Osman Ali Semi. A collision led to Sunkens Surtröjor getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Osman Ali Semi hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Sunkens Surtröjor's Evelio Loi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Evelio Loi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sunkens Surtröjor protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Evelio Loi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viktor Axelsson made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Axelsson in the 52nd minute of play forced Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Sokol Narev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sokol Narev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Isbășoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Axelsson came free, but Sokol Narev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes Sunkens Surtröjor got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Tomporowski. Eugeniusz Tomporowski kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of FC MCM booed when Sunkens Surtröjor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osman Ali Semi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the game, FC MCM's Jean Paul Moscatelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Irureta in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sokol Narev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Laércio Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sunkens Surtröjor's Laércio Coutinho got a free kick in the 81st minute. Sokol Narev made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Cristi Maniu sent off a good shot on target. Călin Prunaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ke Zheng Feng in the 82nd minute of play. Vali Cârnu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Sokol Narev made a huge save. Cătălin Agulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC MCM eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
