Fabio Betadur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Augusto Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Elpidio Guillelmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Augusto Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Fabio Betadur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cui Xiang Zhen hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, João Augusto Barral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Betadur. LA DEL MONO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Augusto Barral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cui Xiang Zhen in the 25th minute of play forced LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henri Pesqueira charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henri Pesqueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Skull Sport F.C booed when LA DEL MONO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henri Pesqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Betadur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cui Xiang Zhen went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Skull Sport F.C's Robert Levandowsky in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LA DEL MONO's goalie prevented a goal. Robert Levandowsky's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Betadur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Skull Sport F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raimundo da Silveira in the 40th minute. Rigoberto Cordareo thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Fabio Betadur, a very annoying self made goal in the 40th minute which led to 0-3. The audience was convinced that Cosme Oalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Astrada was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

The crowd rose to their feet as Cui Xiang Zhen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabio Betadur. That made the score 0-4 in the 51 minute of play. Robert Levandowsky could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Fabio Betadur made a huge save. In the 58th minute of the match Skull Sport F.C got a corner. LA DEL MONO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raimundo da Silveira ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur got control of the ball when João Augusto Barral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robert Levandowsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Betadur having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosme Oalo in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo Astrada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Augusto Barral got free with Fabio Betadur in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reynaldo Astrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Oalo in the 70th minute of play. Fabio Betadur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Barral in the 71st minute of the match. Skull Sport F.C were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after LA DEL MONO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raimundo da Silveira took the corner. Cui Xiang Zhen had several of the LA DEL MONO's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 81 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Fabio Betadur as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cui Xiang Zhen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henri Pesqueira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reynaldo Astrada. Skull Sport F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 91st minute, one of LA DEL MONO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LA DEL MONO. The goalkeeper, Fabio Betadur, was totally fooled by Skull Sport F.C's Robert Levandowsky, who 93 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The LA DEL MONO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Skull Sport F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
