The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Pierres kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mads Hermansen. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 12th minute, Paulo Pierres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guanacos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 16 minutes into the match, Guanacos's goal looked a bit too open when Nik Glyrskov came free, but Marcial Orlandus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guanacos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nik Glyrskov was slow to take the kick. During this time lyptus's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on lyptus's corner Nik Glyrskov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcial Orlandus quite easily take care of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Guanacos's Paulo Pierres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mads Hermansen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guanacos's Marcial Orlandus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerhart Ulfgaard in the 26th minute of play. Marcial Orlandus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorkild Falshøj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Pierres in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mads Hermansen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 31 minutes lyptus's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Danilo Sanchez who took care of the corner kick. Marcial Orlandus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorkild Falshøj, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Paulo Pierres hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Isak Kongebro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcial Orlandus. Guanacos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcial Orlandus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerhart Ulfgaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Guanacos's Marcial Orlandus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nik Glyrskov in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Gerhart Ulfgaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Orlandus. Guanacos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerhart Ulfgaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nik Glyrskov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thorkild Falshøj succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 53rd playminute. If Paulo Pierres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Pierres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mads Hermansen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerhart Ulfgaard in the 62nd minute of play forced Guanacos's goalkeeper Marcial Orlandus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guanacos's Marcial Orlandus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Guanacos from getting a goal against them. Guanacos's Remigio Ler was substituted for Denis Pello. After 71 played minutes lyptus got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Donatello. 76 minutes into the match, Guanacos's goalkeeper Marcial Orlandus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thorkild Falshøj. Marcial Orlandus made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Elmas Veloz sent off a good shot on target. Elmas Veloz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Marcial Orlandus made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Paulo Pierres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute Paulo Pierres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mads Hermansen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the lyptus defense, Ricardo Hug kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mads Hermansen. The lyptus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mads Hermansen should have stopped the shot. Guanacos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
