Bernd Yuschni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Plumber in the 7th minute of play. Jerry Lodge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qiao Xing Qi, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joe Herring got free with Bernd Yuschni in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joe Herring in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernd Yuschni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Willi Tilmann came free, but Jerry Lodge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joe Herring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernd Yuschni having to interfere. Raoul Kreibisch made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Valencia C.F.'s Len Forrest. After a defensive mix-up in Hannover Reds's zone, Joe Herring stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernd Yuschni came out of the goal and Joe Herring tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Willi Tilmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 44 played minutes Hannover Reds got a freekick which was hit by Raoul Kreibisch. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Joe Herring made the kick off in the second half. Joe Herring struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Bernd Yuschni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valencia C.F.. In the 55th minute, Pierce Platt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s Joe Herring sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernd Yuschni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Qiao Xing Qi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliver Bean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joe Herring recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 75 played minutes Hannover Reds got a freekick which was hit by Lars Voss. Valencia C.F.'s Jerry Lodge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qiao Xing Qi in the 78th minute of play. With a little luck, Valencia C.F.'s Jerry Lodge got control of the ball when Willi Tilmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jerry Lodge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Argina in the 84th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joe Herring in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernd Yuschni saved Hannover Reds from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Joe Herring managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valencia C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Joe Herring was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernd Yuschni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd match minute, Hannover Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raoul Kreibisch to maneuver through the defense. Bernd Yuschni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Herring, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
