Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boleslaw Zielinski in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernt Ånger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernt Ånger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Zielinski in the 10th minute of the match. Boleslaw Zielinski might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernt Ånger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boleslaw Zielinski ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boleslaw Zielinski in the 12th minute of play forced VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goalkeeper Bernt Ånger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 13th minute of the game was made by Fabian Brinker with Erland Trolle as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ruperto Salvadore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyons's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruperto Salvadore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernt Ånger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Lyons defense, Oriche Isazi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisito Quinten. The Lyons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luisito Quinten should have stopped the shot. Ruperto Salvadore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bernt Ånger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boleslaw Zielinski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernt Ånger having to make a save. In the 33rd minute, Oriol Loyola made a precise shot to the right of Luisito Quinten. Lyons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luisito Quinten came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Xande Cavani. But to his dismay, Xande Cavani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Bernt Ånger came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Lyons's Boleslaw Zielinski. But to his dismay, Boleslaw Zielinski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Lyons's Paulo Illan was substituted for Aurelio Vasco. Lyons's Cesar Remigio was substituted for Boleslaw Zielinski. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesar Remigio to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Illan in the 54th minute of play forced VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goalkeeper Bernt Ånger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Lyons's Luisito Quinten got control of the ball when Xande Cavani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernt Ånger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Remigio, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ruperto Salvadore kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, VERDOLAGA CITY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oriol Loyola to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Rashford showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Xande Cavani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Luisito Quinten made a huge save. 86 minutes into the game, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Oriol Loyola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luisito Quinten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. In the 98th match minute, Lyons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Chago to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute of the match Marcus Rashford shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisito Quinten showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The VERDOLAGA CITY FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing VERDOLAGA CITY FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
