It was a well-played corner which Filiberto Nisio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 28th match minute, Lagrima en Jarrita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Cordareo to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Lagrima en Jarrita's goal looked a bit too open when Stanley St Clair came free, but Loco Malo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olgierd Karanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dursun Ekinci having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Bozkurt Tanyıldız got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dursun Ekinci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Karanowski in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lagrima en Jarrita's goalkeeper Loco Malo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stanley St Clair was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Arquímedes Desira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lagrima en Jarrita made a substitution. Andreas Hellsing replaced Arquímedes Desira. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Hellsing in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dursun Ekinci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the match, Lagrima en Jarrita's goalkeeper Loco Malo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bozkurt Tanyıldız. Dursun Ekinci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Hellsing in the 95th minute of play.
