Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) CSD Concepción's Sebastian Felin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Alin Nichitelea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Podgoreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carpathians's Matei Răducu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Felin in the 10th minute of play. The corner ended in Baltazar Vasconcelos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carpathians's Matei Răducu did a great save. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Sebastian Felin put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Matei Răducu. When Carpathians's Stefan Dobay in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Carpathians defense, Sebastian Felin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matei Răducu. The Carpathians fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matei Răducu should have stopped the shot. Stefan Dobay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Emanuel Podgoreanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Felin in the 43rd minute of play forced Carpathians's goalkeeper Matei Răducu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CSD Concepción's Emanuel Podgoreanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save CSD Concepción from getting a goal against them. In the 48thth minute of the game Stefan Dobay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CSD Concepción's Emanuel Podgoreanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Carpathians players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CSD Concepción were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Dobay to make the kick off. Matei Răducu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Felin in the 52nd minute of play. Matei Răducu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Felin's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 55thth minute of the game Sebastian Felin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpathians's Matei Răducu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, CSD Concepción's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Dobay came free, but Emanuel Podgoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goalkeeper Matei Răducu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Felin. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebastian Felin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matei Răducu. That made the score 0-4 in the 62 minute of play. CSD Concepción's Manuel Antonio Amenábar was substituted for Sebastian Felin. CSD Concepción's Júnior Fernandes was substituted for Calixto Urquidi. 70 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Antonio Amenábar came free, but Matei Răducu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafín Jarpas short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Matei Răducu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Matei Răducu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Antonio Amenábar, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Antonio Amenábar got free with Matei Răducu in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the match, Stefan Dobay notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of CSD Concepción's Emanuel Podgoreanu. Emanuel Podgoreanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carpathians's Salvatore Schillaci was substituted for Ercan Sabahaddin. With an all-out effort, CSD Concepción's Matei Răducu threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Manuel Antonio Amenábar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Carpathians booed when CSD Concepción was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre Zuidema didn't get a good kick on the ball. CSD Concepción's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
