An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Snow in the 29th minute of play forced Varennes's goalkeeper Gilberto Boone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Maritek FC's Jon Snow sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilberto Boone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maurice Odonnell received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hélio O'Connell came out and tried to block the shot, but Maurice Odonnell slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Maritek FC's Felice Tacco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilberto Boone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felice Tacco made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Théophile Berger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varennes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maritek FC the free kick. In the 52nd match minute, Varennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Théophile Berger to maneuver through the defense. Ettore Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Boone having to interfere. Felice Tacco struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Gilberto Boone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maritek FC. Varennes made a substitution. Titus Pineda replaced Bernardo Goudreau. 68 minutes into the game, Daniel Dominguez threw the ball into play from the sideline. Maritek FC's Eli Mariani quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Hong Mosher hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Felice Tacco struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Gilberto Boone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maritek FC. Maritek FC's Alfredo Toschi was substituted for Ferruccio Zarillo. Varennes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Federico Ondino scored to the left of an out of position Gilberto Boone, making the score, 1-2. 81 minutes into the match, Seth Luke notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Maritek FC's Hélio O'Connell. Hélio O'Connell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilberto Boone made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Federico Ondino sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Maritek FC booed when Varennes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erwin Gay didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Ondino got free with Gilberto Boone in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the match, Maurice Odonnell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hélio O'Connell. Maritek FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurice Odonnell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2.
