Karl-Åke Sandström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Bejrut in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes in the game, Roberto Carlos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Karl-Åke Sandström having to interfere. Wiktor Bejrut succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 38th playminute.
