Wawrzyniec Niedziela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Kaznocha in the 14th minute of the match. Fryderyk Budzynski had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Kajar Püss's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kajar Püss was the one to do the kick off. Fryderyk Budzynski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kajar Püss in the 53rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Kajar Püss could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Fryderyk Budzynski however easily saved by the left post. But to his dismay, Kryspin Lichniak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 65th match minute, Grimório was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konrad Värnik to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 66 minutes, Kryspin Lichniak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Autolycus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kryspin Lichniak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wawrzyniec Niedziela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kryspin Lichniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
