Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Conrado Holz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gustaw Fafinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Bycofski in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Bycofski in the 7th minute of play forced KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Gustaw Fafinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaw Fafinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Pająk's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stanislaw Maziarski was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Poland's players had a chance to rest. Witold Bycofski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustaw Fafinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute U21 Poland were awarded a corner. Stanislaw Maziarski went to the cornerflag to take it. Witold Bycofski was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 15 minutes into the game, Elías Olsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. U21 Poland's Karol Andrzejewski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 17th match minute, U21 Poland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Bycofski to maneuver through the defense. Jan Pająk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gustaw Fafinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan Pająk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Fafinski having to interfere. Witold Bycofski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Gustaw Fafinski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Bycofski in the 29th minute of play forced KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Gustaw Fafinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, U21 Poland's Witold Bycofski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustaw Fafinski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Jan Pająk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustaw Fafinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Pająk's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The corner ended in Stanislaw Maziarski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Gustaw Fafinski did a great save. 43 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Holz came free, but Tanek Wojtyna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaw Fafinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Pająk, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan Pająk to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to U21 Poland getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Zbigniew Boniek hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Elías Olsson in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by U21 Poland's Karol Andrzejewski. The supporters of U21 Poland booed when KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franciszek Chuchro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th match minute, U21 Poland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Bycofski to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of U21 Poland booed when KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Rødal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elías Olsson made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hugon Kornasiewicz immediately put the ball in play. Tanek Wojtyna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugon Kornasiewicz in the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Witold Bycofski notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Gustaw Fafinski. Gustaw Fafinski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. U21 Poland's Eric Esposito was substituted for Witold Bycofski. Gustaw Fafinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Pająk in the 72nd minute. The corner led U21 Poland's Damian Furlit to fire away a dangerous shot which Gustaw Fafinski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. U21 Poland's Tanek Wojtyna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Holz in the 75th minute of play. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A made a substitution. Tymoteusz Deput replaced Wincenty Bierfass. A nice corner shot did that Slawomir Wojciechowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tanek Wojtyna quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 81 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's Eric Esposito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustaw Fafinski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Gustaw Fafinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Pająk. Gustaw Fafinski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Esposito went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Eric Esposito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Gustaw Fafinski when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
