The Olympiakos fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kyriakos Vryzas should have stopped the shot. Olympiakos fc's Sokratis Liolidis got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th match minute, Olympiakos fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prodromos Tsichlas to maneuver through the defense. Kenny Cousens scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kyriakos Vryzas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Walford AFC booed when Olympiakos fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paris Matsoukelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Calum Bolton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Walford AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calum Bolton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olympiakos fc's Kyriakos Vryzas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calum Bolton in the 47th minute of play. The Olympiakos fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Walford AFC were winning 0-2.

Kyriakos Vryzas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Sutton, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Iain Welsh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Olympiakos fc's goal looked a bit too open when Chaz Sparkes came free, but Kyriakos Vryzas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Iain Welsh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chaz Sparkes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kyriakos Vryzas came out and tried to block the shot, but Chaz Sparkes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 77th minute. With an all-out effort, Walford AFC's Kyriakos Vryzas threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iain Welsh, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. During the 86th minute of the match Prodromos Tsichlas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Prodromos Tsichlas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 87 played minutes Olympiakos fc got a freekick which was hit by Prodromos Tsichlas. Kyriakos Vryzas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Calum Bolton in the 88th minute.
