Frederik Dröge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Jim Askew made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pitt Gross in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jim Askew prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Welkershausen FSV's zone, Kenny Cousens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leander Schachow came out of the goal and Kenny Cousens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jim Askew was a little too slow when Pitt Gross got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. Leander Schachow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenny Cousens, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Welkershausen FSV's goalkeeper Leander Schachow, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jim Askew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pitt Gross in the 57th minute of the match. Jay Slator charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jay Slator the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Walford AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jay Slator hit a great ball. If Pitt Gross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pitt Gross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute of the match Frederik Dröge shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jim Askew showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Esau Preuße sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenny Cousens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leander Schachow having to interfere. Kenny Cousens's late challenge caught a Welkershausen FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenny Cousens helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Walford AFC's Kenny Cousens got a free kick in the 74th minute. Holger Wahlberg hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Esau Preuße sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Kenny Cousens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Walford AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenny Cousens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
