To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the game, Hani Al Wazan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edgar Negri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Coiotêra FC! Júlio Teles might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basel Mandane. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júlio Teles ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute, Hani Al Wazan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 28 minutes of play, DEIR MAWAS's Hani Al Wazan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Negri was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Coiotêra FC's Gustavo Gerber got a free kick in the 30th minute. The supporters of DEIR MAWAS booed when Coiotêra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, DEIR MAWAS's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Gerber came free, but Basel Mandane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Teles in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Basel Mandane, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edgar Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hani Al Wazan in the 47th minute of the match.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Hani Al Wazan managed to get in a good position for a shot. DEIR MAWAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Hani Al Wazan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Negri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DEIR MAWAS! Basel Mandane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Wasel Al Wazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Negri having to interfere. Edgar Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hani Al Wazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Coiotêra FC's goalkeeper Edgar Negri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wasel Al Wazan. A collision led to DEIR MAWAS getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Yasser Al Hadhod hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Júlio Teles notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of DEIR MAWAS's Basel Mandane. Basel Mandane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wasel Al Wazan had several of the Coiotêra FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Edgar Negri as he didn't even see the shot coming. Shaban Al Qatam kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hani Al Wazan in the 91st minute of play forced Coiotêra FC's goalkeeper Edgar Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
