Kyriakos Vryzas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pitt Gross, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 34th minute Esau Preuße shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyriakos Vryzas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kyriakos Vryzas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pitt Gross in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pitt Gross made a kick off. With a little luck, Olympiakos fc's Kyriakos Vryzas got control of the ball when Esau Preuße tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ntinos Krassas hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Eggert Ditsche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Babbis Vlontakis hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Olympiakos fc's goal looked a bit too open when Pitt Gross came free, but Kyriakos Vryzas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Baldur Degen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyriakos Vryzas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes Welkershausen FSV got a freekick which was hit by Falk Schnitzer. If Nektarios Papaefstathiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Sokratis Liolidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. Pitt Gross showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Welkershausen FSV played a much better game than Olympiakos fc and deserved their victory. The Olympiakos fc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
