Reinaldo Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Costa in the 18th minute of play forced Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Andres Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd of the match, Eusebio Hori tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Alex Frasca got in the way and made a wonderful save. The crowd rose to their feet as Eusebio Hori kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alex Frasca. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebio Hori in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Frasca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the game, Leonel Messi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Andres Ekhi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, Garanhão do SUL's Akis Kefallinos got a free kick in the 54th minute. Alex Frasca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Hori in the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ricart Futebol Clube's Geovânio Gerber got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 64 minutes, Eusebio Hori made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Garanhão do SUL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebio Hori was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 75 played minutes Ricart Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Doron Bantz. Alex Frasca came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Ricart Futebol Clube's Eusebio Hori. But to his dismay, Eusebio Hori quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Salvador Lousada got a throw-in 81 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cláudio Balsemão. Alex Frasca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebio Hori went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho was substituted for Eusebio Hori. 90 minutes into the match, Abel Ramalho notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Garanhão do SUL's Alex Frasca. Alex Frasca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salvador Lousada made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ricart Futebol Clube's Hans-Jürgen Beckenbauer. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Ramalho in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Frasca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Abel Ramalho made a precise shot to the right of Alex Frasca. Garanhão do SUL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Garanhão do SUL's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
