Spectators: 7463 (Terracing: 5598, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elizardo Arzube started the match with the kick off. Xano Ocejo kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Fulgencio Lazaeta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Pinar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Galsino Bradi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Östen Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Borrero in the 17th minute of the match. Östen Walroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosario Encalada, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 21 minutes into the match, AC Mayonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Lazaeta came free, but Östen Walroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mattias Kilstedt got free with Aztore Sarantes in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the AC Mayonnaise defense, Elizardo Arzube kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Östen Walroth. The AC Mayonnaise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Östen Walroth should have stopped the shot. After 31 played minutes AC Mayonnaise got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Kilstedt. 32 minutes into the match, AC Mayonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Elizardo Arzube came free, but Östen Walroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Östen Walroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elizardo Arzube, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Jonny Cane hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes El Pinar got a freekick which was hit by Sustrai Falceto. Erik Hellkvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aztore Sarantes came out and tried to block the shot, but Erik Hellkvist slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 38th minute. A collision led to El Pinar getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Xano Ocejo hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Lazaeta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Östen Walroth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Alf Törnkvist made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, AC Mayonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Lazaeta came free, but Östen Walroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Sustrai Falceto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Östen Walroth. Sustrai Falceto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Östen Walroth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elizardo Arzube in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute, Rosario Encalada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Östen Walroth was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Jonny Cane kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Lazaeta in the 78th minute of play forced AC Mayonnaise's goalkeeper Östen Walroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Jonny Cane notched a goal, 2-6, to the right of El Pinar's Aztore Sarantes. Aztore Sarantes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute, Elizardo Arzube ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Östen Walroth was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. 89 minutes into the match, AC Mayonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Lazaeta came free, but Östen Walroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Rosario Encalada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-8. Östen Walroth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle sounded El Pinar left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AC Mayonnaise.
