The corner ended in Rodrigo Onfroy almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Pinar's Aztore Sarantes did a great save. A collision led to Royal PSG getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Thomas Ribiere hit a great ball. Bacary Filloux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elizardo Arzube in the 14th minute of the match. Bacary Filloux didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Borrero went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 20 minutes into the game, Royal PSG's Jean-Yves Fresnais nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aztore Sarantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a little luck, Royal PSG's Bacary Filloux got control of the ball when Elizardo Arzube tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, El Pinar's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Chalaye came free, but Aztore Sarantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Ribiere kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Bacary Filloux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosario Encalada, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Jean-Yves Fresnais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maurice Chalaye to make the kick off. After 78 minutes Royal PSG's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xano Ocejo who took care of the corner kick. El Pinar's Xano Ocejo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bacary Filloux in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 79 minutes into the game, Thomas Ribiere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Royal PSG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Pinar the free kick.
