Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) 9 minutes into the game, Juan Lizardi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jukatriz the free kick. A collision led to INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Juan Lizardi hit a great ball. Dorian Freitas took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pepe Santoro. Pepe Santoro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jukatriz were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wanderson Vergílio took the corner. After 28 played minutes Jukatriz got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Chaves. Oséas Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Lizardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 34 minutes, Ulysses Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jukatriz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulysses Teles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Chaves during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dorian Freitas scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pepe Santoro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Narciso Vergaray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dorian Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Pepe Santoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorian Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepe Santoro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Juan Lizardi got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Dorian Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th minute, Higinio Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Pepe Santoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB from getting a goal against them. Dorian Freitas had several of the INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Pepe Santoro as he didn't even see the shot coming. Pepe Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulysses Teles in the 85th minute of the match. Wilson Gaspar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pepe Santoro came out and tried to block the shot, but Wilson Gaspar slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's zone, Ulysses Teles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pepe Santoro came out of the goal and Ulysses Teles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nuno Pirani fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jukatriz's protests and gave Nuno Pirani a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Jukatriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Pirani to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jukatriz had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
