In the 16th minute Primitivo Formerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Indar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Ceulemans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but German Indar made a huge save. In the 20th minute Florencio Rioja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Enol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Florencio Rioja had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Enol. Brujas KV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florencio Rioja was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 24th minute, SuperChango's Vinicio Taurino seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vinicio Taurino the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SuperChango protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vinicio Taurino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Jakes during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Brujas KV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Jakes to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Brujas KV's German Indar threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Primitivo Formerio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

A collision led to Brujas KV getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jairo Jakes hit a great ball. Ronaldinho Ronaldinho kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When Jan Ceulemans fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brujas KV's protests and gave Jan Ceulemans a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute Primitivo Formerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Indar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brujas KV were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after SuperChango's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clinton Mata took the corner. The corner ended in Clinton Mata almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SuperChango's German Indar did a great save. There was no doubt that Brujas KV were the better team. Brujas KV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
