Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eugênio Paiva made the kick off which started today's match. Eugênio Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 6 minutes, Comunardo Quadrini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the XMAS and the JFSP players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, XMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Comunardo Quadrini to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, XMAS's Alessio Ascoli got a free kick in the 8th minute. Eugênio Paiva's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Filippo Barbato firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 14th minute JFSP were awarded a corner. Kārlis Straubegs went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to JFSP's Edinson Gentenaar getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When JFSP's Eugênio Paiva in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye XMAS's goalie prevented a goal. Gino Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugênio Paiva in the 23rd minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Filippo Barbato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, JFSP's Eugênio Paiva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 29thth minute of the game Alessio Ascoli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JFSP's Kléberson Laguna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Eugênio Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JFSP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind XMAS's goalkeeper Filippo Barbato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 41 minutes, Eugênio Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JFSP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugênio Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. JFSP's Kārlis Straubegs quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dave Barillari, made in the 43rd minute of the game. Eugênio Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Filippo Barbato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Dave Barillari threw the ball into play from the sideline. JFSP's Gino Camargo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

XMAS made a substitution. Eugenio Casiraghi replaced Christian Zaccardi. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ennio De Nardis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juanfran Gentenaar scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filippo Barbato, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind JFSP's goalkeeper Kléberson Laguna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute Eugênio Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Barbato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, JFSP's Eugênio Paiva made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filippo Barbato was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filippo Barbato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugênio Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Eugênio Paiva sped through XMAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filippo Barbato. If Gino Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 88 minutes of play, JFSP's Eugênio Paiva made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filippo Barbato was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filippo Barbato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugênio Paiva in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Eugênio Paiva notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of XMAS's Filippo Barbato. Filippo Barbato was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. JFSP fully deserved thier win.
