Família Ressaca MZ's João Augusto Trancoso couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for DPD FC. In the 12th minute of the game Afonso Belém made a throw-in which Jairo Setúbal played forward. DPD FC's Jairo Setúbal got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 14 minutes of play, Família Ressaca MZ's Luiz Fábio Lopez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuno Pais was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute, Luiz Fábio Lopez made a precise shot to the right of Nuno Pais. DPD FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fábio Lopez in the 20th minute of play forced DPD FC's goalkeeper Nuno Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Luiz Fábio Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Luiz Fábio Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Família Ressaca MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fábio Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Pais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuno Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fábio Lopez in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Nuno Pais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Família Ressaca MZ. In the 79th minute, Família Ressaca MZ's Luiz Fábio Lopez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nuno Pais. Nuno Pais yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. João Augusto Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
