Bozkurt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Janusze Futbolu the free kick. In the 11th minute Emil Zawada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boran Gencal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boran Gencal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Brysz in the 15th minute of play. Juliusz Kicia scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boran Gencal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With 20 minutes on the clock, Lech Gejda commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 30 minutes into the match, Janusze Futbolu's goal looked a bit too open when Zühtü Kornes came free, but Witold Dziurowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
