The supporters of Misericordia EC booed when Portus Ganda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Mestdagh didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Jón Dinamite cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hugo Kindt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 10 played minutes Misericordia EC got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Motta. Portus Ganda were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Misericordia EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Güralp Ergüleç took the corner. In the 16th match minute, Portus Ganda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Neirynck to maneuver through the defense. After 17 played minutes, Misericordia EC's Jano Tróia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hugo Kindt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Misericordia EC reached it. Misericordia EC's Wágner Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güralp Ergüleç in the 18th minute of play. Valério Peres's late challenge caught a Portus Ganda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valério Peres helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Portus Ganda booed when Misericordia EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valério Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Bob Dinamite notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Portus Ganda's Hugo Kindt. Hugo Kindt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hugo Kindt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Chute, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jón Dinamite in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Kindt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bob Chute sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Jón Dinamite had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Kindt. Portus Ganda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jón Dinamite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Güralp Ergüleç to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Güralp Ergüleç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute of the match Portus Ganda got a corner. Misericordia EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Güralp Ergüleç ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bob Chute received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Hugo Kindt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Jón Dinamite made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Kindt. Portus Ganda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. If Jón Dinamite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Jano Tróia suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Misericordia EC's Carlos Dias was substituted for Jano Tróia. Jón Dinamite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Kindt having to interfere. If Bob Dinamite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Jón Dinamite sped through Portus Ganda's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hugo Kindt. Misericordia EC's Bob Chute got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jón Dinamite in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Kindt saved Portus Ganda from getting behind. Bob Chute received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hugo Kindt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christopher Mestdagh didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, one of Portus Ganda:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Portus Ganda's zone, Bob Dinamite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Kindt came out of the goal and Bob Dinamite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Kindt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jón Dinamite in the 97th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, Carlos Dias notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Portus Ganda's Hugo Kindt. Hugo Kindt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Misericordia EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
