In the 18th minute Baldomero Panfilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Pablo Orlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CAI NEUQUEN's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vito Batista 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Batista in the 38th minute of play forced CAI NEUQUEN's goalkeeper Serafin Lalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CAI NEUQUEN reached it. Ismael Chumo charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Chumo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 48 played minutes CAI NEUQUEN got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Chumo. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edelmiro Chago was the one to do the kick off. CAI NEUQUEN's Serafin Lalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Teixeira in the 56th minute of play. Pedro Luiz Matorin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomero Panfilo in the 59th minute. Victor da Fonseca scored 3-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafin Lalla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AS Pikachuzim's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
