Deilmison Robben who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Remus Pătru when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Otávio Meirelles had several of the Fotbal Club Vaslui's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Remus Pătru as he didn't even see the shot coming. Durval Tinoco charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Durval Tinoco hit a great ball. Ronaldo Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Remus Pătru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Otávio Meirelles came free, but Remus Pătru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Remus Pătru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deilmison Robben. In the 40thth minute of the game Otávio Meirelles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fotbal Club Vaslui's Remus Pătru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Remus Pătru got control of the ball when Durval Tinoco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Augustin Jivulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Otávio Meirelles notched a goal, 11-1, to the right of Fotbal Club Vaslui's Remus Pătru.
