Carl Carlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Marciewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven Hernström in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laze Gjoka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the match, DFP's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Marciewicz came free, but Carl Carlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Timmy Vestberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Laze Gjoka, 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Templários MZC's Roger Guedes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl Carlsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 19 minutes DFP's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antônio Carlos Fernandes who took care of the corner kick. In the 37th minute Zula Marciewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Carlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laze Gjoka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Hernström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Guedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carl Carlsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carl Thorsberg to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The DFP fans cheered their team off the field, for while Templários MZC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
