Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Raimundo Innocenzio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Raimundo Innocenzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Tony de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Deportivo Luz y Fuerza getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Cosme Lauren hit a great ball. Cosme Lauren lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 16 minutes, Yuri Terra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sandinense ADF and the Deportivo Luz y Fuerza players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raimundo Innocenzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Tony de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's goalkeeper Ildefonso Belarmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Deportivo Luz y Fuerza defense, Yuri Terra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ildefonso Belarmo. The Deportivo Luz y Fuerza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ildefonso Belarmo should have stopped the shot. After 33 minutes, Fernandão Quadros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sandinense ADF and the Deportivo Luz y Fuerza players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernandão Quadros hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 51st minute, Régis de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Raimundo Innocenzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Innocenzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Innocenzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the game, Yuri Terra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ildefonso Belarmo. Yuri Terra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Gildo Valle hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sandinense ADF's zone, Leandro Iratxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony de Sena came out of the goal and Leandro Iratxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ildefonso Belarmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Terra in the 76th minute of play. Ildefonso Belarmo came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Sandinense ADF's Rodriguinho Dias. But to his dismay, Rodriguinho Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After having played for 85 minutes, Raimundo Innocenzio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Innocenzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sandinense ADF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
