When Manole Anghel came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Galati Harbour Cats fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manole Anghel couldn't finish the play. Shayne Fontenot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Brășneanu in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of ђỉģђωấų ţŏ ђęſſ booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Crainic didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Manole Ghiondea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolph Mathis. In the 31st minute, Manole Anghel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, ђỉģђωấų ţŏ ђęſſ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joe Gagnon to maneuver through the defense. Galati Harbour Cats's Manole Anghel managed to work through ђỉģђωấų ţŏ ђęſſ's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Manole Anghel dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Codrin Olaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shayne Fontenot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Codrin Olaru ran back to his position shaking his head. Shayne Fontenot made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Manole Anghel sent off a good shot on target. ђỉģђωấų ţŏ ђęſſ succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Galati Harbour Cats had controlled the match.
