Attilio Silveri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Motyl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Luzea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lukasz Marek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th minute, Ferruccio Paganelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lukasz Marek was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulfo Luzea in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lukasz Marek saved Lyna Lidzbark Warminski from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynardo Cerrillo in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lukasz Marek saved Lyna Lidzbark Warminski from getting behind. When Arnulfo Luzea came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Atletico Benevento fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Luzea couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Lyna Lidzbark Warminski defense, Antonello Tripodi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lukasz Marek. The Lyna Lidzbark Warminski fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lukasz Marek should have stopped the shot. Filippo Barducci was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 48 minutes into the match. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atletico Benevento! Atletico Benevento:s Attilio Silveri showed great skill when he stopped Szymon Sobczak:s penalty. 51 minutes in the game, Szymon Sobczak dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonello Tripodi was the one to do the kick off. When Atletico Benevento's Giacomo Guarisi in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lukasz Marek came out of the goal and Antonello Tripodi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lukasz Marek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonello Tripodi's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Lukasz Marek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynardo Cerrillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Reynardo Cerrillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Benevento fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. After having played for 81 minutes, Arnulfo Luzea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Benevento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Luzea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonello Tripodi took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lukasz Marek. Lukasz Marek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Szymon Sobczak during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Atletico Benevento made a substitution. Eraldo Brini replaced Comunardo Pocobello. Szymon Sobczak hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Antonello Tripodi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Benevento's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonello Tripodi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lukasz Marek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonello Tripodi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lukasz Marek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97thth minute of the game Antonello Tripodi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's Lukasz Marek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonello Tripodi in the 100th minute of play forced Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's goalkeeper Lukasz Marek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Atletico Benevento players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
