Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stasio Madajczyk took the kick off in the first half of the match. With his leg Lukasz Cichocki managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when FC Nordsjælland's Benjamin Nygren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Nadodrze Wrocław's Lukasz Cichocki got control of the ball when Benjamin Nygren tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartlomiej Wysocki during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Conrad Harder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nadodrze Wrocław's Jakub Duszenski got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henning Sæmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Madajczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Henning Sæmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stasio Madajczyk in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Stasio Madajczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Sæmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Nadodrze Wrocław's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitar Berbatov came free, but Lukasz Cichocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Schjelderup hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrad Harder in the 29th minute of play forced Nadodrze Wrocław's goalkeeper Lukasz Cichocki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, FC Nordsjælland's Conrad Harder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lukasz Cichocki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 36th minute, Benjamin Nygren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lukasz Cichocki was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Benjamin Nygren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Lukasz Cichocki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lukasz Cichocki made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Benjamin Nygren sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrad Harder to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Nadodrze Wrocław was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stasio Madajczyk to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Nordsjælland fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Nadodrze Wrocław a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fryderyk Jaszyna, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Nordsjælland's Henning Sæmer. 2-1. Stasio Madajczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrad Harder in the 60th minute of play forced Nadodrze Wrocław's goalkeeper Lukasz Cichocki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Stasio Madajczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nadodrze Wrocław's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stasio Madajczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Benjamin Nygren came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FC Nordsjælland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Nygren couldn't finish the play. Daniel Svensson kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Lukasz Cichocki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitar Berbatov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lukasz Cichocki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrad Harder's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Henning Sæmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stasio Madajczyk. Dimitar Berbatov took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lukasz Cichocki. Lukasz Cichocki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Jakub Duszenski's late challenge caught a FC Nordsjælland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jakub Duszenski helped the player get up and apologised. There was no doubt that FC Nordsjælland were the better team. FC Nordsjælland's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
