The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Quinito got free with Antônio Carlos Leme in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alex Ciscato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nelsinho do Vale went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 11 minutes into the match, Fumasche's goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho do Vale came free, but Alex Ciscato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio Carlos Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Berriotxoa in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Sangue nos Zóio's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Quinito came free, but Antônio Carlos Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliciano Berriotxoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Antônio Carlos Leme made a huge save. Antônio Carlos Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Quinito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Lorenzo Quinito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antônio Carlos Leme was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, Sangue nos Zóio's goalkeeper Antônio Carlos Leme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Quinito. Edinho Tróia hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Antônio Carlos Leme was a little too slow when Lorenzo Quinito got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-1. Lorenzo Quinito took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antônio Carlos Leme. Antônio Carlos Leme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

João Vítor Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Feliciano Berriotxoa's late challenge caught a Sangue nos Zóio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliciano Berriotxoa helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Berriotxoa in the 60th minute of play forced Sangue nos Zóio's goalkeeper Antônio Carlos Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sangue nos Zóio getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Dudu Hermes hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Godofredo Kinsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antônio Carlos Leme was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 72 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Quinito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Antônio Carlos Leme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fumasche fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 79 minutes, Sangue nos Zóio's Edgar Freire got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alex Ciscato. After having played for 85 minutes, Edgar Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sangue nos Zóio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Freire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Sangue nos Zóio getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Telmo Zanette hit a great ball. Fumasche's Armando Lehen got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Fumasche were the better team. Fumasche's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
