Ekedalen SK's Per Bröms proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Ekedalen SK from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Rönn in the 10th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustaquio Jaizki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Per Bröms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Stig Rönn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Germano came out of the goal and Stig Rönn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ekedalen SK's Per Bröms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Berdoi in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Stig Rönn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustaquio Jaizki hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Marcos Berdoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Per Bröms made a huge save. If Marcos Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Rönn in the 31st minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match, Eustaquio Jaizki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Per Bröms saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcos Berdoi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Per Bröms came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcos Berdoi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 39th minute. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Bark in the 42nd minute of play. When Edgard Barros fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Atlanta's protests and gave Edgard Barros a yellow card for diving instead. Edgard Barros hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Berdoi was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Germano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig Rönn in the 50th minute. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Rosendo Cutberto hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Jaizki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ekedalen SK the free kick. In the 56th minute, Eustaquio Jaizki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ekedalen SK's Alvin Heggert got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Per Bröms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Jaizki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per Bröms was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rosendo Cutberto in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per Bröms prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Per Bröms stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Berdoi's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Carlos Germano made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Ingvar Bark sent off a good shot on target. If Sten Hagberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Hagberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Berdoi in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per Bröms saved Ekedalen SK from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Isac Höijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Elias Rönn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. In the 94th minute Sten Hagberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosendo Cutberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atlético Atlanta were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ekedalen SK for a fine match.
