The audience thought a goal was coming when Rowan Tyler got free with Edwin van der Saar in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajetan Kluczyk in the 13th minute of play forced T H F C's goalkeeper Dale Kinsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes RKS Królewscy got a freekick which was hit by Ksawery Fabiszak. After 14 played minutes T H F C got a freekick which was hit by Dominik Plumber. Roger Crossley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Roger Crossley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edwin van der Saar was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 25th minute, Patryk Kosel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edwin van der Saar made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Lee Walton sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute of the match T H F C got a corner. RKS Królewscy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dominik Plumber ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zdzislaw Pierz hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 50th minute, Patryk Kosel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dominik Plumber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Edwin van der Saar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rdth minute of the game Roger Crossley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RKS Królewscy's Edwin van der Saar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edwin van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Crossley in the 56th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, T H F C's Wally Tompkins made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edwin van der Saar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the match, RKS Królewscy's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Crossley came free, but Edwin van der Saar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Patryk Kosel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edwin van der Saar came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by T H F C's Roger Crossley. But to his dismay, Roger Crossley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 73 minutes into the match, RKS Królewscy's goal looked a bit too open when Lee Walton came free, but Edwin van der Saar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RKS Królewscy's Edwin van der Saar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Crossley in the 76th minute of play. Edwin van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Crossley in the 77th minute of play. T H F C's Lee Walton got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Ksawery Fabiszak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that T H F C were the better team. T H F C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
