Grosso United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Pietro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saturnino Romo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogumil Czaplicki in the 23rd minute. Aleksander Gollob could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Saturnino Romo made a huge save. In the 28th match minute, Vęgoria Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeusz Hajduk to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Alfred Zawaski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Saturnino Romo, 1-4. A collision led to Vęgoria Team getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Tobiasz Dynda hit a great ball. The Vęgoria Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aleksander Gollob made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Alfred Zawaski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saturnino Romo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Czerny, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute.
