In the 5th minute, one of La Acade:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Acade. Juan Blai went to the wrong direction when Abelardo Belarmo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Rodrigo Cugat's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Juan Blai skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rodrigo Cugat made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 12thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Juan Blai would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Juan Blai stood somewhat misplaced when Rodrigo Cugat came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 12 minute. Juan Blai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Cugat in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Mateo Ciceron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Bernardo Min shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 17th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Juan Blai but with some difficulty. In the 20th minute, Ezequiel Chago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Acade's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Rodrigo Cugat scored to the left of an out of position Juan Blai, making the score, 2-0. In the 25th match minute, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Bakar to maneuver through the defense. If Mateo Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernardo Min kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Bernardo Min hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Juan Blai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Cugat in the 41st minute of play. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Agustín Brei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Ciceron in the 44th minute of play. After 46 played minutes La Acade got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Chago. 48 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Cugat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Blai. Rodrigo Cugat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

La Acade's Juan Blai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Belarmo in the 55th minute of play. Abelardo Belarmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Blai having to interfere. Juan Blai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Cugat in the 58th minute of the match. Agustín Brei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Ciceron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mateo Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Froilan Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agustín Brei was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. 90 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Cugat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Juan Blai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Cugat in the 98th minute of play. La Acade's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
