Spectators: 7563 (Terracing: 5673, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Virgílio Ferraz kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Banegas got free with Albertinho Netto in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute, Hugo Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliciano Demesio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgílio Ferraz's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Raí Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Demesio having to interfere. Matias Abella kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Feliciano Demesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgílio Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Nas Horas Vagas F.C getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Antônio Penha hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Ferraz in the 26th minute of play forced Alzaga FC's goalkeeper Feliciano Demesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Alzaga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Ibañez to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Nas Horas Vagas F.C booed when Alzaga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Ibañez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliciano Demesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Edu Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Virgílio Ferraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Feliciano Demesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Ferraz in the 40th minute of play. Edu Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvador Quirze made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Banegas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albertinho Netto. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustaquio Banegas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 59th minute Raí Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Demesio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Pedro Salamon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albertinho Netto. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Salamon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 65th minute, Salvador Quirze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alzaga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 68 played minutes Alzaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Celso Felipillo. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Albertinho Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Banegas in the 71st minute of play. Pedro Salamon hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Feliciano Demesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí Braga in the 77th minute of the match. Carlos de Castro made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Alzaga FC's Ismael Ibañez. 89 minutes into the game, Ismael Ibañez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alzaga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nas Horas Vagas F.C the free kick. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Feliciano Demesio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alzaga FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abel Duarte was slow to take the kick. During this time Nas Horas Vagas F.C's players had a chance to rest.
