Avantgarde's Karl-Oskar Göransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Roso in the 25th minute of play. If Borut Špiček had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th match minute, Avantgarde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Westerstrand to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Earnest Digiuseppe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Avantgarde's Georg Fogel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silverio Sanson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Earnest Digiuseppe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lennart Westerstrand during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roque Roso to make the kick off. After taking down the ball on Santa Fe's corner Narciso Jacob fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karl-Oskar Göransson quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxi Rodriguez in the 57th minute of play forced Avantgarde's goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Oskar Göransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toro Murillo in the 69th minute of the match. Avantgarde's Karl-Oskar Göransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Roso in the 70th minute of play. Narciso Jacob hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Fe's goalkeeper Silverio Sanson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute of the match, Bo-Erik Jönsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Silverio Sanson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 84 minutes into the match, Avantgarde's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Roso came free, but Karl-Oskar Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Avantgarde getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Borut Špiček hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes Avantgarde got a freekick which was hit by Carl Engström. Avantgarde's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
