An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Ageorges in the 19th minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ruy Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruy Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Ageorges in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st minute, Roland Ageorges made a precise shot to the right of Ruy Oliveira. Papunhas EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Ageorges in the 26th minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ruy Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Bérenger Bauche hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Mans's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Rosa came free, but Nicolas Baudoin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mans's zone, Simão Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Baudoin came out of the goal and Simão Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Ageorges in the 89th minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ruy Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mans's Adrien Andreu got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Mans left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Papunhas EC.
