Edelmiro Aztore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Aztore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stat Veritas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monitor Huáscar the free kick. After a rather tough play, Stat Veritas FC's Edelmiro Aztore got a free kick in the 18th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Ivan Cebada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monitor Huáscar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Cebada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 20 minutes of play, Stat Veritas FC's Gonzalo Gaxan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johans Ortubia was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, Ivan Cebada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Txanton Sedeño hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edelmiro Aztore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Stat Veritas FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Lizbeth. Ivan Cebada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Eneas having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Martxot came free, but Johans Ortubia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Stat Veritas FC booed when Monitor Huáscar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monitor Huáscar's Steven Fortis was substituted for Ivan Cebada. Monitor Huáscar's Humberto Sagasti was substituted for Ovidio Varez. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal hit a great ball. Johans Ortubia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Aztore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steven Fortis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Eneas having to interfere. Weterio Rocandia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 73 minutes, Steven Fortis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monitor Huáscar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steven Fortis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Steven Fortis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Steven Fortis got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Steven Fortis hit a great ball. Edelmiro Aztore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Johans Ortubia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Weterio Rocandia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Eneas having to interfere. Gonzalo Gaxan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Johans Ortubia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Stat Veritas FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Monitor Huáscar.
