The supporters of GOD OF WAR booed when Sportivo Ben Hur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Malvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Anastasios Karidis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sportivo Ben Hur's Abelardo Cristofor didn't even have to move. After some careless play in the GOD OF WAR defense, Desiderio Tancredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikitas Kontopanos. The GOD OF WAR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikitas Kontopanos should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Bruno Maraman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Ben Hur's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Maraman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikitas Kontopanos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 minutes, Raimundo Primo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Ben Hur and the GOD OF WAR players grew even worse after the yellow card. With 15 minutes on the clock, Panos Karnezis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in GOD OF WAR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Alejandro Igon walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Nikitas Kontopanos came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Ben Hur's Bruno Maraman. But to his dismay, Bruno Maraman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Anthimos Farmakatos struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Abelardo Cristofor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GOD OF WAR. In the 27th minute, Bruno Maraman made a precise shot to the right of Nikitas Kontopanos. GOD OF WAR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 32 minutes into the game, Bruno Maraman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Nikitas Kontopanos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th match minute, GOD OF WAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fanis Paouris to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes GOD OF WAR got a freekick which was hit by Eleftherios Kolibas. Nikitas Kontopanos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Maraman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikitas Kontopanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Martxot in the 41st minute of play. Fabricio Martxot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anthimos Farmakatos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, GOD OF WAR's Charis Kastanos got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Nikitas Kontopanos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Maraman in the 54th minute of the match. Fabricio Martxot received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nikitas Kontopanos came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabricio Martxot slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute Bruno Maraman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikitas Kontopanos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, Sportivo Ben Hur's Fabricio Martxot made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikitas Kontopanos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Martxot got free with Nikitas Kontopanos in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Charis Kastanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GOD OF WAR's Nikitas Kontopanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Maraman in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Piarres in the 76th minute of play forced GOD OF WAR's goalkeeper Nikitas Kontopanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, GOD OF WAR's Nikitas Kontopanos got control of the ball when Bruno Maraman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the GOD OF WAR defense, Fabricio Martxot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikitas Kontopanos.
