Spectators: 7518 (Terracing: 5639, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Dufresne started the match with the kick off. FC Stadtclub's Arnold Steward played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murat Oncu in the 6th minute of play. Arnold Steward showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murat Oncu in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute islahiye spor were awarded a corner. John-Paul Bannister went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Vicente Ponzio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Kris Devine scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnold Steward, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Yannick Walpert came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the FC Stadtclub fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yannick Walpert couldn't finish the play. When FC Stadtclub's Carlos Dufresne in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye islahiye spor's goalie prevented a goal. 20 minutes into the match, Yannick Walpert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rainer Seltorp. islahiye spor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yannick Walpert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a little luck, FC Stadtclub's Arnold Steward got control of the ball when 余义枫 tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Carlos Dufresne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Stadtclub's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Dufresne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Carlos Dufresne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Romero Affolter managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Stadtclub's supporters rose to their feet, but Romero Affolter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rainer Seltorp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnold Steward made an important save on a dangerous shot by 余义枫 in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Matthias Vrijdags kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When Romero Affolter fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Stadtclub's protests and gave Romero Affolter a yellow card for diving instead. Arnold Steward came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by islahiye spor's Murat Oncu. But to his dismay, Murat Oncu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 58 minutes into the match, FC Stadtclub's goal looked a bit too open when 余义枫 came free, but Arnold Steward reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Vicente Ponzio made a precise shot to the right of Arnold Steward. FC Stadtclub's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Arnold Steward showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Devine in the 64th minute of the match. Yannick Walpert hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, FC Stadtclub's goal looked a bit too open when 余义枫 came free, but Arnold Steward reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Stadtclub's Arnold Steward played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 余义枫 in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to FC Stadtclub getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Yannick Walpert hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, FC Stadtclub's goal looked a bit too open when Murat Oncu came free, but Arnold Steward reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rainer Seltorp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Dufresne in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Carlos Dufresne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rainer Seltorp was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After 78 played minutes FC Stadtclub got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Jeanneret. Carlos Dufresne struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Rainer Seltorp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Stadtclub. Arnold Steward showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 余义枫 in the 85th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, islahiye spor's Murat Oncu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnold Steward made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2.
