Carlos Dufresne started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Yannick Walpert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Ribas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ɍυƒυs™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Matthias Vrijdags was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Stadtclub's players had a chance to rest. If Romero Affolter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ɍυƒυs™'s Francisco Ribas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Dufresne in the 22nd minute of play. FC Stadtclub's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matthias Vrijdags in the 24th minute. FC Stadtclub's Yannick Walpert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ramiro Almeida, made in the 27th minute of the game. In the 31st minute Patrick Jeanneret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Ribas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute FC Stadtclub were awarded a corner. Matthias Vrijdags went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Matthias Vrijdags almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ɍυƒυs™'s Francisco Ribas did a great save. The supporters of Ɍυƒυs™ booed when FC Stadtclub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Vrijdags didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th match minute, FC Stadtclub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Vrijdags to maneuver through the defense. After 41 minutes FC Stadtclub's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Higino Viveiros who took care of the corner kick. Gervásio Lages sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saúl Soveral in the 46th minute of play forced FC Stadtclub's goalkeeper Arnold Steward to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Saúl Soveral made the kick off in the second half. Arnold Steward made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saúl Soveral in the 53rd minute of play. Higino Viveiros kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Romero Affolter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Ɍυƒυs™ fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Ɍυƒυs™'s Saúl Soveral looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Ɍυƒυs™'s Gervásio Lages in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Stadtclub's goalie prevented a goal. In the 78th minute, Simon Lampart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute of the match, Higino Viveiros sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Arnold Steward showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ɍυƒυs™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Matthias Vrijdags was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Stadtclub's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Romero Affolter got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Francisco Ribas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arnold Steward stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saúl Soveral's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Stadtclub's Romero Affolter slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Francisco Ribas. That made the score 1-1 after 87 minutes of play. Romero Affolter hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
