Spectators: 7200 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 75) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vivaldo Loureiro started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Michael Hottiger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the FC Stadtclub defense, Vânderson de Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnold Steward. The FC Stadtclub fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnold Steward should have stopped the shot. When SeleSantos FC's Vivaldo Loureiro in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 19thth minute of the game Carlos Dufresne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SeleSantos FC's Tales Siqueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of FC Stadtclub booed when SeleSantos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruninho Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tales Siqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giacomo Wunderlin in the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vivaldo Loureiro in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnold Steward prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When FC Stadtclub's Romero Affolter in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SeleSantos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Marcelinho Coelho's late challenge caught a FC Stadtclub's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelinho Coelho helped the player get up and apologised. Marcelinho Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yannick Walpert in the 34th minute of play forced SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Tales Siqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Jeanneret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Patrick Jeanneret was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Stadtclub's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SeleSantos FC the free kick. A collision led to FC Stadtclub getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Patrick Jeanneret hit a great ball. Tales Siqueira was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Carlos Dufresne capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Dufresne really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1.

The wind increased when Carlos Dufresne made the kick off in the second half. Tales Siqueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Dufresne went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute, Carlos Dufresne made a precise shot to the right of Tales Siqueira. SeleSantos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Marcelinho Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Dufresne took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tales Siqueira. Tales Siqueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. After a defensive mix-up in SeleSantos FC's zone, Patrick Jeanneret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales Siqueira came out of the goal and Patrick Jeanneret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrick Jeanneret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tales Siqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Yannick Walpert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes FC Stadtclub got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Dufresne. After 96 played minutes SeleSantos FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão Paraíba. In the 97th minute, Patrick Jeanneret got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the SeleSantos FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Stadtclub.
