Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejo Ereinotz in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denílson Catarinense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 6 minutes into the game, Ruy Quirino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karavela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Kadorna the free kick. After 7 played minutes Karavela got a freekick which was hit by Ruy Quirino. After a rather tough play, Karavela's Guto Rosado got a free kick in the 7th minute. Denílson Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Abastas, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Denílson Catarinense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejo Ferdinand's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Ruy Quirino was shown his second yellow card after 16 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Karavela getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ruy Quirino hit a great ball. Anselmo Abastas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Karavela's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Abastas came free, but Denílson Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guto Rosado's late challenge caught a Deportivo Kadorna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guto Rosado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Guto Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Abastas did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Denílson Catarinense 22 minutes into the match. Adriano Melo hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Abastas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denílson Catarinense was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 31st minute, Anselmo Abastas made a precise shot to the right of Denílson Catarinense. Karavela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 53 minutes of play, Deportivo Kadorna's Alejo Ferdinand made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denílson Catarinense was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Anselmo Abastas put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Denílson Catarinense. After 64 minutes of play, Deportivo Kadorna's Anselmo Abastas made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Šale Roura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Kadorna's supporters rose to their feet, but Šale Roura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denílson Catarinense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Bihar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denílson Catarinense having to make a save. 82 minutes into the match, Anselmo Abastas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denílson Catarinense. Karavela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Abastas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 84th minute, Anselmo Abastas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Kadorna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. 88 minutes into the match, Karavela's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Mano came free, but Denílson Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denílson Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Quinton in the 89th minute of play. Denílson Catarinense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Abastas's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Deportivo Kadorna walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
